Prior to seeing Dr. Crom I had never been to a chiropractor and wasn't sure what to expect. He was very informative about the process and procedure. I saw him on two different occasions and he was very willing to work me into his schedule on short notice. The best part, his expertise really helped with my back pain.

Dr Nick Crom is a true professional who seems to have magic in his hands. I have been to other Chiropractic offices but Dr Nick has given me a much relief from chronic lower back pain. He is very knowledgeable in all areas of health and nutrition. The office staff is polite and professional and they work well with insurance as well.

I was a 10 handicap golfer before my car accident in 2007. My lower back was injured so badly I had to give up golf entirely. The treatment Dr. Crom provided me completely rejuvenated my golf game, and my life. I now play golf a minimum of 3 times a week, and my current handicap is a 4.

Our son has severe ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) and ODD (Oppositional Defiant Disorder). Dr. Crom has been treating him with acupuncture for his allergies. His focus and attitude have improved tremendously because he truly feels better. Thanks a million Dr Crom!

We have been very happy with service received at Dr. Crom's office. Our son attends school away from home and Dr. Crom always arranges his schedule to accommodate my son's needs when he comes home. Thank you for great service and great results.

Dr. Crom's human anatomy knowledge certainly goes beyond the human spine/back. After my GP told me "to see a surgeon for the tendinitis in my shoulder/arm", Dr. Crom corrected it in just three adjustments. Incredible!

I call Dr. Crom my miracle worker. I have two very bad knees that hurt all the time and was not looking forward to knee surgery. I decided to give Dr. Crom a chance with Acupuncture. While he was inserting the needles (that you do not even feel), I mentioned that I was going to have carpel tunnel surgery as well. Giving acupuncture a try with Dr. Crom has made it so I no longer have a need for surgery because of the pain. Then I mentioned to Dr. Crom about wanting to lose weight; so gave acupuncture a try for that, and guess what? it has taken away the hungry feeling completely, and I am finally losing weight and I don't feel like I am on a diet. It is awesome. So that is why I call Dr. Crom my miracle worker, he has let me walk pain free and no surgery, needlepoint and type all day pain free and no surgery, and I am losing weight for the first time in 10 years without feeling sorry for my self.

As an All American Masters athlete in the discus, Dr. Crom has played an integral part in my training and recovery. His chiropractic care will help me to reach my goals for the Worlds Master Championships in 2011.

Chiropractic

Chiropractic is a health care discipline, which emphasizes theinherent recuperative power of the body to heal itself without the use ofdrugs or surgery. The practice of chiropractic focuses on the relationshipbetween structure (primarily the nervous system) and function (ascoordinated by the nervous system) and how that relationship affects thepreservation and restoration of health. In addition, Doctors ofChiropractic recognize the value and responsibility of working incooperation with other health care practitioners when in the best interestof the patient.

Purpose

The purpose of chiropractic is to optimize health.

Principle

The body's innate recuperative power is affected by and integrated through the nervous system.

Practice

The practice of chiropractic includes:

Acupuncture

What does it treat, and how effective is it?

The common feature shared by all the different types of acupuncture is using needles to make lesions in soft tissue (acupuncture). Needles and needle-induced lesions activate the built-in survival mechanisms that normalize homeostasis and promote self-healing. This process consists of two parts: central and peripheral. For the central mechanism needling and needle-induced lesions stimulate parts of the brain that activate the principal survival systems-the nervous, endocrine, immune, and cardio-vascular systems-and normalize the physiological activities of the whole body. In the case of the peripheral mechanism needling and the resulting lesions trigger physiological reactions around the needling sites that involve all four survival systems in desensitizing and repairing the damaged tissues. At the needling site, a cascade of survival reactions occurs, including the immune reaction, and we call this the local needling reaction. Thus acupuncture can be defined as a physiological therapy coordinated by the brain which responds to the stimulation of manual or electrical needling of peripheral sensory nerves. In relation to this definition, there is one concept that can not be overemphasized: that acupuncture does not treat any particular pathological symptom but normalizes physiological homeostasis and promotes self healing. Thus acupuncture, in terms of it's therapeutic mechanisms, is non-specific: acupuncture does not target any particular symptom or disease but treats the body as a whole. Understanding this nonspecific nature of acupuncture can provide an answer to puzzling question: what symptoms and diseases can it treat?

NAET

Proven Effective

NAET is a synthesis of various medical disciplines such as allopathy, acupuncture, chiropractic, kinesiology and nutrition. Nambudripad's TestingTechniques utilizes Muscle Response Testing (MRT) which indicates the kineticimbalance in the body caused by allergens. The NAET treatment stimulatespressure points along the spine from the neck to the sacrum while the patientis holding an allergen. After the treatment, a strong MRT indicates that theallergy has been removed. Specific acupressure points are then massaged oracupuncture needles may be inserted for 20 minutes to stabilize the treatment. The substance must then be completely avoided for 25 hours following thetreatment for the best results. Allergens are treated and cleared one at atime in a specific sequence. Normally only one item is treated on a givenday. In most cases one session is all that is required to eliminate anallergy if NAET is applied properly. Individuals who are highly sensitivemay sometimes require additional treatments.

Purification

Why purification? Toxins are in the foods you eat, the water you drink, and the air you breathe. You areprobably aware of most environmental toxins: pesticides, heavy metals, chemicals, pollution, caffeine, andpreservatives. But what you may not realize is how our bodies produce natural toxins, such as ammoniaand carbon dioxide, which linger in the body if they can't be broken down. The liver, lymphatic system(related to the immune system), kidneys, lungs, intestines, blood, and skin filter these toxins from yourbody. When overloaded, your body becomes inefficient and toxins can build upPurification is merely the internal cleansing and detoxification of your body. Think of it as a "springcleaning" for your insides.

It requires making new, healthier choices for yourself. You'll learn to refrain from eating fast foods, processed convenience foods, and sugar-laden snacks, which place an unnecessary load on your body.Instead you'll learn to turn to whole, unprocessed, preservative-free foods,, lots of pure spring water, tastyshakes, and whole food supplements..

This Purification program is directed by our doctor, and is designed to help your cleanse our body of itstoxic load over a 3 week program.
